| The Martin Currie Rob Roy Challenge
On Saturday 23 June 2007, the second Rob Roy Challenge took place. | |

The event raised over £400,000 for three charities. Reflecting Martin Currie's base in Scotland, and clients in the UK and around the world, our staff selected one local, one national, and one international charity. They are Children's Hospice Association Scotland, Cancer Research UK and Habitat for Humanity.
Some 130 corporate and private teams walked 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, to Callander, where they switched to bikes for a 39-mile cycle to Kenmore, on the banks of Loch Tay. Over 90% of starters completed the course in times ranging from 5 to 13 hours.
The event was helped immeasurably by the outstanding support and encouragement of the event volunteers and support teams.
