By car
This is not recommended since parking space in Shanghai is at a premium. Use taxis as they are very cheap and in abundance. Get the concierge of the hotel to write your destination in Mandarin to give to the taxi driver.
By train
There is a great underground Metro in Shanghai which is efficient and cheap although can be quite crowded at rush hour. Single tickets cost 2 Yuan (around 15 pence) and this can sometimes get you to your destination quicker than a taxi. The nearest Metro station is Luijiazui which is under the Pearl Tower.
The Maglev train connects Pudong airport to the Metro system. It only runs from 09:00 - 17:00 and requires you to change to the Metro system with your luggage, etc.
By plane
A taxi from Pudong airport will take around 45 minutes. It is recommended that you arrange for an airport pickup with the hotel you stay at. This will cost around 550 Yuan (around £35). Alternatively, you can get a normal taxi to the hotel for 150 Yuan (around £10).
If you are visiting the office, it is recommended that you stay at the Shangri-La hotel which is located 2 minutes away.
