The Taiwan Fund, Inc. appoints Martin Currie as investment manager
The Taiwan Fund, Inc., a closed-end management investment company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, has appointed Martin Currie to manage the US$302 million dollar fund. The appointment is subject to, and would commence following, approval of an investment advisory contract with Martin Currie, Inc. by the Fund's stockholders at the 2010 Annual Meeting on 26 April 2010. |
