| Martin Currie announces fund manager to co-manage its market-leading Global Resources Fund |
Ruairidh Stewart to become co-manager alongside Chris Butler and Duncan Goodwin.

Martin Currie, the specialist active equity manager, today announced that Ruairidh Stewart will become co-manager of its top performing Global Resources Fund, alongside Chris Butler and Duncan Goodwin. Ruairidh, who has 12 years investment experience, joined Martin Currie's award-winning resources team in 2007 and is already co-manager of the long-only Martin Currie Global Energy Fund with Duncan Goodwin.

The appointment clearly demonstrates Martin Currie's commitment to ensuring the team has the appropriate resource to continue to deliver outstanding performance for its clients.
The $110 million Martin Currie Global Resources Fund, is A-rated by OBSR and has a Superior-rating from Morningstar. It has delivered top decile returns since its launch in December 2005. The fund has delivered an annualised return of 13.8% since launch compared to a sector return of 7.2%*.
The risk/return profile of the fund places it in a leading position within the Lipper Global Equity Natural Resources sector, which tracks all comparable funds across Europe. As part of the IMA initiative to classify offshore funds into the IMA sectors, the Fund will be listed in the IMA Specialist Sector starting 1 April 2010.
