Jeff Lombardi will join Martin Currie as senior vice president of North American client service on 21 June 2010. Based in New York, he will report to Jamie Sandison, head of Martin Currie North America.
Jeff has 27 years' experience in the investment industry. He joins Martin Currie from Citigroup, where he was global head of private-bank portfolio management. In this role, Jeff managed one of Citi Private Bank's most successful investment offerings and was involved in asset allocation, manager selection and tactical trading, as well as the development of key relationships within the organisation, including distribution, marketing, legal affairs, compliance and investments.
As Martin Currie's client base continues to grow, this new appointment deepens the company's resources and demonstrates its ongoing commitment to service its clients and support its business. Martin Currie has been expanding its sales and client-support team, with Keith Skinner joining the New York office in February to support institutional clients. Keith, who has 14 years' experience, joined from Bank of Ireland Asset Management and will focus on clients on the east coast of the US. In the last year, Martin Currie has also announced the opening of offices in Singapore and Melbourne, to provide local service to its clients as the business grows.
