Martin Currie strengthens distribution capabilities in Australia with hire of new BDM

Martin Currie, the specialist active equity manager with a growing Australian institutional client base and wide recognition of its Australian, Global and Emerging Market equity capabilities, has bolstered its distribution team in Australia with the hire of a new BDM.


Eu-Jene Teng joins Martin Currie on 11 June 2019 as Business Development Manager. He will be based in Melbourne and will be focussed on the institutional market. Eu-Jene will be responsible for actively identifying opportunities to promote Martin Currie’s core suite of Australian and Global investment capabilities to institutional clients across the Pan-Asia region, working closely with Kimon Kouryialas.

Eu-Jene has more than 18 years of financial service sales experience. He joins Martin Currie from Pinnacle Investment Management where he was an Associate Director of Institutional Sales and covered private debt, Australian equities, global equities and direct infrastructure. He has also held Business Development Manager positions at Macquarie Investment Management, Vanguard, Orchard Funds and Macquarie Professional Series.
