Martin Currie Diversified Growth Wins Financial Standard Investment Leadership Award

27 December 2017

Martin Currie Australia has been awarded Best Multi-Asset Growth Sector Manager in the inaugural Financial Standard Investment Leadership Awards. MCA was also a finalist in the Australian Listed Property sector.

The awards, which quantitatively analysed 120 investment managers and more than 900 strategies, recognise strategies that have persistently delivered outstanding investment solutions and outcomes. The quantitative methodology combines performance factors with five different risk measures.

Reece Birtles, Chief Investment Officer and lead-portfolio manager for the Diversified Growth strategy, said:

"We are honoured to have been selected from a talented group of multi-asset growth managers shortlisted for these Awards.

The top-quartile performance over the 1, 3, and 5-year periods versus our peer universe* highlights how our Diversified Growth strategy has been able to perform across the cycle, and maximise returns for our medium to long-term accumulation investors#.
