Naomi is a Portfolio Manager at Martin Currie Australia (MCA) and is passionate about building out MCA's Sustainability frameworks and using Quantitative research to improve the alpha lenses that form the MCA research platform.
Naomi joined MCA’s predecessor firm in December 2006 as a Quantitative Associate, and her role has evolved from a focus on risk control, to building Sustainability frameworks that help to deliver financial returns while considering benefits to society and the business.
Naomi has a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours (Economics) and Finance from the University of Melbourne, is a CFA® charterholder and has passed the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing.
Naomi is an avid hiker in her free time and has hiked amongst the breathtaking fjords in Norway, the Himalayas and even the Dolomites on the border of Italy and Austria. These experiences have provided her with direct exposure to the effects of climate change, shaping her interest in sustainable investing.
