Portfolio Manager, Global Long-Term Unconstrained
Sam is a Portfolio Manager on our Global Long-Term Unconstrained team. His process accountability is as co-head of Data Analytics. His sector responsibilities are focused on the Healthcare sector.
Sam joined Martin Currie as an Associate Investment Analyst in October 2014 as part of the graduate programme. Initially he worked as an analyst in the materials and energy sectors, before moving to the Long-Term Unconstrained team with a generalist role, then adding a special focus on healthcare stocks. In June 2020, Sam was appointed Portfolio Manager.
He is a CFA® charterholder. Sam has a BA (Hons) in Finance, Accounting & Management from Nottingham University and an MSc in Financial Engineering & Risk from Imperial College and before joining Martin Currie had internships at Arbiter Fund Managers in London and the Credit Suisse Gibraltar office
