Aimee Truesdale is a co-manager of our Global Emerging Markets strategy and has responsibility for researching stocks in the healthcare sector.

Aimee joined Martin Currie in 2021. Prior to this, she held positions with Jupiter Asset Management and Waverton Investment Management and worked on Global, Asian and Indian equities. Whilst at Jupiter she collaborated with their Stewardship team to oversee environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues at investee companies. Before joining the investment management industry in 2012, Aimee was a nuclear physicist, doing research and computer modelling on the thermomechanical properties of materials.

Aimee is a CFA Charterholder and has a B.Sc. (Hons) in physics from the University of Edinburgh. She has lived in Malaysia, Singapore, and Bermuda, and spent 10 years in London before relocating to Edinburgh. Outside of work, Aimee is an avid classical violinist and enjoys playing in local amateur orchestras.
